Welcome to my blog. What I want to do is to outline the various stumbling steps I take from being a keen taker of pictures to being a good one. If I'm honest, I've been a sort of serious amateur photographer for about 30 years and, as a result, I do know the basic technical 'how' of taking good pictures. What I think I'm less good at is the creative visualisation and the point of this blog is to try to document what happens when I focus more on creating good and interesting images, rather than simply snapping away and seeing what comes out.
